Since Google began enforcing Consent Mode v2, UK accounts configured wrong have quietly lost conversion tracking and remarketing. Most owners were never told. We check that before we touch a bid.
The UK market
Consent Mode v2 has been mandatory since March 2024 for any advertiser using Google Ads, GA4 or Google Marketing Platform features with UK or EEA visitors. Google began enforcing it on 21 July 2025, and accounts that were not compliant lost access to personalised advertising, remarketing and conversion tracking.
That is not a red banner and a warning email. It is a quiet degradation. Your cookie banner looks fine, the dashboard still shows numbers, and the monthly report still arrives. Underneath, tags have stopped collecting properly on a share of your traffic, remarketing audiences are shrinking, and Smart Bidding is deciding on a thinner signal than it had a year ago.
There is another date coming. From 15 June 2026 Google Signals is retired and ad_storage becomes the single governing parameter for advertising data. Accounts held together with a half-configured consent setup will feel that one too.
The leaks we find
What we do
All four consent signals verified end to end, then every conversion action checked before anything is optimised.
Negative keyword layers, search-term control and postcode tightening, so budget stops leaving your patch.
The UK has them for home services and professional categories. We get you through licence, insurance and verification.
Budget pushed into the postcodes, days and devices that convert, with automated alerts so nothing drifts again.
Case studies
Six accounts we have audited, across local service, e-commerce and B2B.
The account reported 318 leads. It had produced 12.
Bidding re-anchored to real leads instead of accidental taps. The previous agency called it a market shift. It was two broken settings.
Conversion tracking and attribution restored in about eighteen days.$3,166 in wasted spend, hiding in plain sight.
Spend redirected from junk terms to intent that converts. The strategy was fine. The execution was quietly bleeding.
DSA reined in, spend refocused on in-area intent. The ads were fine. The checkout was quietly killing every sale.
The real conversion blocker was isolated and handed off.Built from scratch, and the data told us exactly when to spend.
Launched clean, with budget pointed at the hours that convert.Who we work with
Roofing, plumbing, electrical, gas. Connected calls, not vanity taps.
Bookings tracked properly, including third-party booking platforms.
Shopping, Performance Max and feed work for brands scaling real ROAS.
Longer cycles, higher value, measured end to end rather than on form fills alone.
How it works
A forensic pass over consent configuration, tracking, spend, structure and search terms. The whole account, not the dashboard.
A broken consent signal, a fake conversion, an aggregator winning terms that never convert. We isolate what is costing you.
Consent signals corrected, tracking repaired, bidding re-anchored to real enquiries, structure rebuilt.
Push budget into what actually converts, then automate the reporting and alerts around it.

We do not start with bid tweaks. We start by proving whether the conversion data is telling the truth.
No lock-in. If the work is not paying for itself you should be able to leave.
Recommendations
“I worked with Rajat for 18 months, I found him a pleasure to work with. He worked on e-commerce, search and social campaigns. I found his knowledge and understanding great and would recommend him if you are looking for an all-round digital manager.”
“It was great working with Rajat, he was able to lower lead cost like no other. Did an amazing job managing multiple clients across Meta and Google. We did performance marketing together and scaled companies, even maintaining 7+ ROAS on some of our e-commerce accounts. He was on time and trustworthy.”
FAQ
That is the first thing we check and it is part of the free audit. The common failures are a cookie banner that never passes the signals to Google, only two of the four signals implemented, or consent firing after the tags rather than before.
No, and we will not pretend to be. We are not lawyers and this is not legal advice. What we check is the measurement side: whether the signals your consent platform sends actually reach Google, and what that is doing to your conversion data.
Usually yes, if you qualify. The UK has them for home services and for professional categories including legal and financial, and they often produce the cheapest qualified lead in the account. Qualifying means licence and insurance checks, a background check and a verified Google Business Profile.
Yes. UK engagements are quoted and billed in pounds, and reporting is in GBP so it reconciles against your Google Ads spend without conversion guesswork.
Not on the head terms, because they will outbid you and then sell you the lead back. We go after specific intent and locality, where the aggregators are weak and the searcher already knows what they need.
Mumbai is four and a half to five and a half hours ahead of the UK depending on the time of year, so our afternoon is your morning. Calls are booked in your hours and account alerts are automated, so nothing waits on a timezone.
There is no hard floor, but below roughly £1,500 a month there is usually not enough data to optimise against. At that level a one-off consulting audit is often better value than management.
